Brian Mahoney is the Principal of MatrixPoint’s, Business Strategy & Data Compliance practices, where he leads a team of consultants, data professionals and data privacy attorneys, consultants, and operators to deliver impactful and actionable solutions for GTM, growth and data compliance challenges.

Brian has built a career delivering data-driven, results-focused strategies at organizations such as Harcourt, Thomson, and The Washington Post. He also co-founded Peerless Analytics, a boutique analytics firm specializing in algorithmically driven insights to enhance sales and marketing performance.

Brian has partnered with leading brands including Xerox, McGraw-Hill, Crunch Fitness, Cigna, and New Balance, as well as high-growth startups such as Thrasio, FreshPet, and The Observer. He also brings deep expertise in the higher education sector, having developed growth, marketing, and GTM strategies for a wide range of institutions—state university systems, mega online universities, for-profit universities, top-ranked research universities, and regional colleges.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lafayette College and an MBA in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.
